I hold a lot of identities I am a deaf autistic adhder who also has a myriad of health issues including declining mobility I m nonbinary and otherwise queer and use they them pronouns I am a psych survivor so if you or your child are folks who are navigating the realm of self harm and suicidality I ve got your back I ve worked in clinic and home settings While some BCBAs work in schools I am not one of them due to my own history of school related trauma I m not a fan of applied behavior analysis ABA which makes me a bit of an odd duck of a provider This field has a nasty history towards autistic people I am in this field for harm reduction and to dismantle it from the inside such that disabled voices have equitable access to providing peer support within the structures currently available for care provision I utilize ABA not as the autism therapy it is known as but as a measurement tool for a humanistic and collective approach to supporting reasonably distressed people I could go on about that idea perhaps a blog will eventually pop up here To be determined

Fluffy Professional Version I am the sole provider behind Perspectives Behavior Consulting LLC deeply committed to the principles of neurodiversity inclusion and compassionate therapy As an autistic and multiply disabled individual my journey has shaped my perspective and fueled my passion for creating a more accepting world With credentials as a board certified behavior analyst and a current doctoral student I am constantly expanding my knowledge to better serve my clients

Q What does BCBA stand for Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Q Do you offer telehealth services Currently all services are available via telehealth if it is the appropriate modality for the support needed

Q Do you accept insurance I am in the process of identifying requirements to become credentialed with the various local insurances This along with the application process itself can take a considerable amount of time I will update the website when this process is completed with which insurances I am able to accept In the meantime I will be private pay only

Q Do you offer sliding scale fees No I don t offer a sliding scale but I am deeply committed to making my services accessible and equitable To prioritize affordability I provide a day of payment discount of 80 and next day payment discount of 50 My goal is to ensure that everyone who seeks our services can access the support they need regardless of their financial situation This discount is one way I strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for all individuals and families Additionally we are working on becoming credentialed providers through Medicaid and eventually other insurers Given providers are not allowed to charge different rates for different funding sources including both insurance and private pay this day of payment discount is the best way that I can ensure access to our services are accessible

Q How long do sessions last Session frequency and length will be determined collaboratively during the intake process

Q Can I or my child receive therapy if we are self diagnosed or not diagnosed at all Given that diagnosis is only required when going through insurance there is no such limitation placed on private pay services As an autistic person I am aware of how inaccessible diagnosis can be for a variety of reasons

Q Do you offer consultation services to other providers Yes This is an area of great interest to me given my view that our field ABA and other helping fields will not progress into true neuro inclusivity until people from the populations most served by the practitioners are themselves the majority of practitioners Nothing About Us Without Us With that in mind consulting with other providers and organizations is a critical aspect of my work

Direct Services and Parent Consulting

$150/hour, with an 80% discount for day-of-service payments ($30/hour), and a 50% discount for next day payments ($75/hour).

Consultation or Supervision with Individual Behavior Analysts

$75/hour for certified BCBAs, $50/hour for behavior analysts in training

Staff Training and Organizational Consulting

Perspectives Behavior Consulting, LLC utilizes a tiered pricing model for training and organizational consultation services modeled after equity leaders (Including both Rockwood Leadership Institute and Equity in the Center).

For companies with annual budgets at or above $1,000,000, $500/hour. For companies with annual budgets under $1,000,000, $250/hour.

This hourly cost includes time spent indirectly, which we will agree upon during our initial consultation. It does not include any travel costs should the requested training or consultation require in-person visits. If this is needed or requested, I will create individual quotes based on the package we negotiate together.

For 1 hour presentations, I typically take about 5 hours to prepare and collaborate with you on designing the training, plus the 1 hour of training.

For organizational consultations, including review of policies, procedures, plans of care, etc, the time required varies significantly depending on the needs of the organization. When you reach out for this service, I will collaborate with you to identify a custom package tailored to your needs.
